Busy VC is seeking the right person to join the team as a part time Personal Assistant out of Menlo Park home. We are looking for someone highly professional and discreet. Organized, pro-active and able to fit in with a home environment. Flexible. Reliable. Willing to give a 2 year commitment and hire and train replacement. $30/hour, 20 hours/week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in Menlo Park.
Job Includes:
Manage household schedule for staff of 4
Payroll for above ensuring full legal compliance
House management of 2 homes (one in Bay Area, one in Southern California)
Book family travel
Shopping: gifts for kids, Christmas etc and gift wrapping
Upload family photographs
Ensure computers are backed up and secure
Manage quarterly/yearly spend spreadsheets
Liaise with tax accountant regarding quarterly/yearly taxes and business expenses
Manage life insurance payments
Manage monthly bills and property taxes
Liaise with ex-husband regarding custody schedule
Requirements:
• Skilled in online document storage and retrieval (DropBox, Evernote, Google, etc.)
• Precise and impeccable communication skills — both oral and written
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Flexible; can balance multiple requests and prioritize
• Can handle high-level and lower-level tasks with the same enthusiasm
• Employee management – can manage remote employees and vendors
• Gets stuff done on time and with minimal support
