*** mail THIS LETTER to all three credit bureaus ***
Dear Sirs,
I am writing to dispute a charge for the Chicago Tribune that appears as a collection item on my credit report.
The Tribune company has sent this to collection and I have repeatedly asked for proof of contract. There has been nothing that shows a contract and the Chicago Tribune is not responding to my correspondence requesting I ever agreed to subscribing.
In short, I never subscribed and they billed me. I disputed the bill via mail and they sent it to collections. There is no relationship between me and the Chicago Tribune.
This is my second letter sent to you and I am cc-ing the Chicago Tribune.
It is in the amount of ____ and I am disputing this.
